As the nation’s leading innovator in healthcare talent solutions and staffing services, AMN Healthcare’s Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Academy aims to help build and retain a high-performance workforce through our professional development programs for nurse leaders. We continue to offer effective tools for our participants and alumni members to help them achieve their goals, improve their executive presence, improve efficiencies, and overall patient outcomes.
We are pleased to introduce the OnSomble OnRole Platform which helps support new and experienced CNOs in their leadership journeys, offering each CNO Academy participant access to proprietary professional role competency assessments, reporting, and education developed by OnSomble, a pioneer in people-driven platforms for professional development, individualized learning, and competency management.
“The CNO Academy is the premiere leadership development program for CNOs in the country,” notes Enderson Miranda, CEO of OnSomble. “For new and aspiring CNOs, the Academy helps to build critical skills and support networks, and for experienced CNOs it helps participants lead through complex changes and challenges. We are honored that the CNO Academy has chosen our OnRole Professional Role Competency platform to generate valuable insights that support nurse leaders as they continue to address the most important challenges in today’s demanding healthcare environment.”
Dr. Joyce Batcheller, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, Nurse Executive Advisor at AMN Healthcare, was instrumental in the process of incorporating the OnRole Platform into the CNO Academy curriculum. “Our partnership with OnSomble allows us to offer additional virtual resources to our participants and alumni, including unlimited access to OnRole’s 360-degree professional competency assessments and virtual coaching sessions with our faculty, thus empowering each participant to maximize the insights and development opportunities identified by the OnRole platform.” Each CNO will be able to utilize the baseline reports for important gap analyses prior to the on-site programs and then track growth beyond our face-to-face contact hours. Ongoing coaching will support and enhance the application of what was learned during the academy.
CNO Academy sessions will take place in September 2020 in Dallas, Texas. New and aspiring CNOs can participate in the CNO Academy I session on September 13-16, while experienced CNOs can attend the CNO Academy II session on September 16-19. The OnRole™ Platform will be available to all new participants as well as the hundreds of CNO Academy Alumni from leading healthcare organizations nationwide.
